Hometown Pizza – Yes.

One of my favorite places to eat is Hometown Pizza. At lunch we go to the one in Crestwood, but at night my family goes to the one in La Grange. They offer a gluten free pizza that Ethan can eat. He has not been glutened from eating there. When the manager of the on in La Grange is there, she will even make him a salad that has not been cross contaminated. It is wonderful.
At lunch the pizza buffet is 5.85 plus tip. So for 7.85 I get all you can eat pizza. There is a salad bar and some kind of pasta offered as well, but lets face it, I am just eating the pizza.
It is really really good. You should go there.

Questions of law?

I, Walter Underwood, believe that the USA and the special ops team, the CIA, and President Obama acted exactly as they should have, did exactly what they needed to do, and should be congratulated on a job well done. Any legal, moral, ethical, or financial objections are ridiculous.

Help Put A TRUE Tea Party Candidate in Frankfort

banner

To All Patriots:

2011 is a critical election year in the state of Kentucky-and one with national implications. Here’s why:

- Kentucky is one of only three states with an election cycle this year. Haley Barbour (Mississippi’s governor) and Bobby Jindal (Louisiana’s governor) are both conservative and well-liked among their constituents.

- Kentucky is the only state with a Democratic Governor who is in lock-step with the Obama agenda.  This election may well be seen as a referendum on the Obama administration if we can field the right conservative candidate in the general election against incumbent Governor Steve Beshear.

His platform not only upholds true conservative principles but offers systemic solutions to the crucial issues facing Kentucky today.  According to rankings supplied by Forbes magazine, the Bluegrass State holds the unenviable distinction as “the Worst run state in the country.” Our education system is also ranked among the very worst in the nation (49th, by some measures.) We need someone who will stand up to ever-increasing Federal mandates that are forced onto state budgets.  We need someone who will stand with other conservative Governorships to fight our overreaching and intrusive Federal Government and help restore every state’s solvency and sovereignty. Phil has spent his life building a business that created jobs and helped the economy in Kentucky. He also co-founded the School Choice Scholarship in Louisville, KY that has helped 3,500 children from all walks of life afford a quality education.

In just over two years, the Tea Party Movement has had a very powerful impact on the political landscape. We’ve begun to shift the tide of the national base towards Constitutional authority, common sense and fiscal responsibility. We must keep the momentum going strong across the country for the upcoming Presidential election. I believe we have a golden opportunity to do that in the weeks ahead.  Phil Moffett is up against a career, establishment politician in the Republican Primary on May 17th. The Tea Parties across Kentucky are banding together to appeal to the National Conservative base to please help us win this critical election. We NEED your assistance. Please help get the word out about Phil Moffett, the only True Conservative candidate in the race. There are videos below with several of Phil’s stances. Please forward this email, and go to www.philmoffett.com to get more information on how you can help return Frankfort to We the People!

FCC Approves Net Neutrality Rules

I am a Republican. There, I said it. However I side completely with the Democrats on this issue. I usually do not draw a specific law on a party line, but this one SOOOOOOO obviously is already just a party vote.

We need Net Neutrality. We must be able to use the internet connection that we are WAY over paying for to get on the internet, and freely surf the web. If we EVER allow the telecommunication companies to control what we see and find on the internet, we have allowed ourselves to be censored by big bussiness.

Imagine if you will, that you pick up the phone and call Wal-Mart, but because ATT, or Verizon has a deal with K-mart, the phone call gets forwarded to K-mart. That is exactly what the FCC is making sure does not happen.

Many arguments will talk about how this is unnecessary regulation on a bright spot in the economy. However, if I type in a URL in a browser at my home right now, and it is not a known, good, URL, Insight Communications forwards my web browser to their search page. Not the search page I have set up in my browser. Not the search page that is a known good, reliable source of information. Their own advertising search page. While currently this only happens when I type in an incorrect URL, and I have fixed the issues by putting in my own DNS entries in my router, without this current regulation it could continue to get worse. Imagine if you were searching for information on a specific candidate for congress, and some other candidate had paid Insight Communications to forward those searches to their campaign page. Would that be enough to make you mad? To ask for Net Neutrality?

Imagine if you were trying to find a recipe and wanted to go to recipe.com, but Insight Communications forwarded your browser to show you their food page instead. That would be bad. That is exactly what this regulation is meant to prevent. It is needed. It is time.

Thank you FCC. (And I do not think the FCC has done anything that I have thanked them for since … uh… well..)

Story at The Jerusalem Post – jpost.com

http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Article.aspx?id=197761

“Make no mistake about it, the ongoing WikiLeaks operation against the US is an act of war. It is not merely a criminal offense to publish hundreds of thousands of classified US government documents with malice aforethought. It is an act of sabotage.

Like acts of kinetic warfare on military battlefields, WikiLeaks’ information warfare against the US aims to weaken the US. By exposing US government secrets, it seeks to embarrass and discredit America in a manner that makes it well neigh impossible for the US to carry out either routine diplomacy or build battlefield coalitions to defeat its enemies.”

wikileaks… This is NOT a question of free speach

When I started hearing about all of the recent Wikileaks hub bub, I thought it was a bunch of noise over nothing. The stuff being released was information that might be embarrassing, but likely would not put anyone in immediate danger.
That has now changed. While I will not go into details (the information is being disseminated way to much already) the information being “leaked” now is a direct threat to the security of The United States of America and her Allies.

Purposely publishing secret information that will endanger the interests of a country is an act of war. Today, Wikileaks declared war on The United States of America. I believe that the Obama administration has an obligation to see it as an act of war and respond accordingly.

Ford posts 6th quartly profit in a row… as they should.

Ford, the one major US auto maker that never took a penny of the recent government bailout funds, posted profits 6 quarters in a row. For those of you that are not so good at math, that is a year and a half.
This amazes me in two ways. First, that a well managed American Company CAN make profits and survive without Government Stimulus. Ford did a wonderful job of eliminating debt and hording cash right before the auto market fell out.
Second, that it is front page news. Maybe it should be. Maybe we should rejoice greatly that Ford is able to accomplish this. I love Ford. I like their cars, their advertising, and I like Edwards, Kenseth, and Biffle. (NASCAR drivers sponsored by FORD). Reporting Ford’s success is great good news.
What about GM and Chrysler? Any news there? A Dodge dealership just down the road from where I work closed down just last week. A company in business should be expected by a free market to have a profit. All of the time.
Should we instead be worried about the fact that we do not have a free market economy? I did not really want GM and Chrysler to go out of business. However, I do believe that Ford, the one company well enough managed to survive, would have profited greatly had all of the auto companies been allowed to deal with market forces.

What do you think? Was bailing out GM and Chrysler an act of tyranny against Ford?
